Deceased Check

for Web Services & Data Quality Center

In Germany, there are approximately 850,000 deaths per year recorded. This makes 850,000 addresses no longer applicable to their residents. With AddressDoctor's Deceased Check, you avoid unnecessary returns and loss of goodwill involved in sending mail to the family of the deceased.

Deceased Check is currently available for Germany and Austria for registered customers via the AddressDoctor Data Quality Center (DQC) or the Web Services.

Similar to the change of address service, only "hits" are counted, meaning that only addresses, for which the reference database supplies the information that the addressee is deceased, are charged.

In any case, addresses are cleansed in advance, so it can be assured, that all addresses in the database are correct.

If you choose the Data Quality Center (DQC) for the deceased check, you will receive a Free Data Audit like all DQC solutions. The Audit displays the current state and the hit rate of addresses before you confirm the order.

The resulting advantages are obvious:

  • Saving postage and advertising material
  • Minimizing the time and money wasted on direct marketing activities
  • Avoiding unnecessary burden for the family of the deceased
  • Reducing the expense of maintaining addresses

As addresses are validated before each Check, address cleansing is charged in addition (Batch-Transactions).

Deceased Check is currently available for Germany and Austria for registered customers. You can use this service with the AddressDoctor Data Quality Center (DQC) or Web Services.
