Seetours sets sail only with "clean" addresses.
The software company Platon Data Technology in Maxdorf celebrates the 500th customer for its AddressDoctor product line. For over eight years Platon has been developing solutions to validate and correct postal addresses and prevent fraud with forged personal information. With almost complete global coverage and award-winning technical innovations AddressDoctor is one of the world-wide leaders and is used by companies like ADD, BP/Aral, I ATA and SAP. This leads to savings in mailing costs, an improvement of accounting processes and efficient marketing. AddressDoctor makes validation and correction of postal addresses possible. Missing data is supplied and incorrectly spelled words corrected. If requested personalized data like credit rating and mover's check can be supplied as well. This improves the deliverability of mail items, reduces the risks, helps find duplicate records in address databases and reduces the costs for marketing. The AddressDoctor products are based on a global reference database of postal information. It contains postal codes, localities, streets, locality synonyms, post office boxes, house numbers, provinces and other data from 240 countries and territorities. AddressDoctor is fully unicode compatible and can process Cyrillic, Japanese and Chinese characters. The products are available as web services or software for on-site-installation and run on all major operating systems and platforms.
