Newsletter - March 2004
|
|
 |
Dear business partners and friends of AddressDoctor,
Have you ever noticed, after checking out of a hotel, that your address on the bill was wrong,
even though you supplied it correctly? Have you ever wondered how many special offers you
might have been missing out on because they are being sent to the wrong address?
Imagine how many customer relationships are mismanaged because from the very point they
are created a critical piece of information is destroyed?
AddressDoctor has recognized this problem and offers solutions that have proven themselves for years
both in our national business and in international hotel chains and companies.
From the 12th to the 16th of March 2004 you can learn more about it at the
ITB (Internationale Tourismus Börse) in Berlin.
Even if your business is not directly related to tourism, the exhibition is probably
worth a visit. In addition to AddressDoctor you might discover the one or other interesting
destination for your next vacation.
We look forward to meeting you in Berlin. You can set up a personal meeting via
telephone +49 6237 9774-30 or email sales@addressdoctor.com.
Best regards, Sven Schreiber

New members will be accepted into the European Union
on May 1st of this year. Membership in the EU can be a long process and requires that
prospective members meet a number of requirements. Many nations wish to join the EU. In
the past, Hungary has been the top candidate for entry into the EU. Through better economic
and fiscal politics, this former leader of the EU entry candidates wants to regain the first
place position.
Consistently rising gross domestic product and a versatile economic
infrastructure make Hungary a promising location for both production and sales. It is therefore important
to know the guidelines for the various address formats of Hungary.
Addresses may be written in one of the following formats, both of which are in
common use and both of which are correct:
ADDRESSEE
POSTALCODE CITY
STREETNAME STREETTYPE BUILDINGNUMBER
HUNGARY
For example:
Nagy Sándor
1022 BUDAPEST
Hermann Ottó út 2
HUNGARY
The alternative form is:
ADDRESSEE
CITY
STREETNAME STREETTYPE BUILDINGNUMBER
POSTALCODE
HUNGARY
For example:
Máté Kft.
BUDAPEST
Kavics utca 13
1025
HUNGARY
Budapest does have several address formats and one is entirely unique to this city.
In Budapest addresses the city name is often found followed by a roman numeral,
indicating the section of the city. If the postal code is used, this sorting code is not
required.
