Multiple-year contract signed with AddressDoctor

Berlin, March 11, 2005 – To speed up its data entry processes and to prevent entry errors Travel Management Systems GmbH (TMS) has entered into a three-year partnership with the German software company, Platon Data Technology. With its AddressDoctor product line, Platon is the leading software company for global address verification and correction systems.

“If a customer has decided to purchase at a travel agency or over the phone, he expects a service that is fast and thorough“, says Mona Nissen, director of Travel Management Systems, expressing the needs of many travel agencies. “Thanks to the partnership with AddressDoctor, we are can verify and correct address data in our systems in less than a second. This was previously impossible.”

Better yet: The address that is captured can be from any of the 240 countries and territories worldwide that are covered by AddressDoctor. Moreover it can be in Japanese, Chinese, Cyrillic or Greek. “In the last 10 years, we have done significant research and development in the handling of international data within the AddressDoctor system,” explains Sven Schreiber, the managing director of Platon.

The AddressDoctor system goes beyond the simple correction of addresses. The travel agencies also do not have to worry about updating the system. “Of course, many details change regularly in the 240 countries that are covered,“ says Schreiber. “AddressDoctor updates the database regularly. As TMS accesses our Web Service it is ensured that they only access the most recent data”

Result: In the future, tickets and invoices can be delivered fast and without any delays, and the customer feels well understood and trusts her business partner.
